Organic Chemistry Names and Reactions (“the Apps”) as provided by Organic App Dev (“we,” “us”). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App uses and how it is handled.
Summary
- We do not require registration, and we do not provide user accounts.
- Most information (settings and progress) is stored locally on your device.
- We use Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase) to understand general app usage and improve the App.
- Analytics is optional: you can turn Analytics on/off in the App’s settings.
- The App does not show ads, and we have disabled collection of the Android Advertising ID for analytics.
Information the App Uses (On Your Device)
The App stores certain information locally to function and to remember your preferences, such as:
- Study settings (e.g., study mode, what to practice)
- Selected categories / study packs
- Scores, progress, trophies/achievements or similar app progress indicators
- Purchase/unlock status saved on-device (if applicable)
This information stays on your device unless you remove it (see “Your Choices”).
Firebase Analytics (Google Analytics for Firebase)
If you enable Analytics in Settings, the App uses Firebase Analytics to measure general usage (for example, which screens are used most often) so we can improve stability, usability, and content.
What Firebase Analytics May Collect
Depending on SDK configuration and the events used, Firebase Analytics may collect:
- App usage events (e.g., screen views, sessions, feature usage)
- Device/app information commonly used for measurement (e.g., device model, OS version, app version)
Advertising ID
- We do not use Advertising ID for advertising.
- We have disabled Advertising ID collection for Firebase Analytics in the Android app configuration.
Information We Receive Only If You Contact Us
If you choose to contact us (for example, by sending an email for support or a problem report), we will receive:
- Your email address, and
- The content you choose to include (such as screenshots or diagnostic details)
This is optional and only occurs if you decide to send the message.
In-App Purchases
In-app purchases are processed by Google Play. We do not receive or store your payment card details. The App may receive purchase/entitlement status from Google Play to unlock content.
Data Sharing
- Firebase Analytics: If enabled, limited usage data is processed by Google/Firebase to provide analytics reporting for the App.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not share data with third-party ad networks for in-app ads (the App does not show ads).
Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has contacted us directly via email with personal information, please contact us and we will delete that message where it is reasonably possible.
Your Choices / Opt-Out
- Analytics toggle: You can turn Analytics on/off at any time in the App’s settings. When Analytics is off, the app disables Analytics collection for that device.
- Uninstall / clear app data: You can stop all App activity by uninstalling the App. To remove locally stored App data, you can uninstall the App or clear the App’s storage/data in your device settings.
If you emailed us, you may request deletion of that email thread by contacting us at organicappdev@gmail.com (note: deletion may be limited by legal or operational record-keeping needs).
Data Retention
- On-device data: retained until you delete the App or clear the App’s data/storage.
- Analytics data (if enabled): retained according to the retention settings in our Analytics/Firebase configuration.
- Support emails: retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain basic support records, unless a longer period is required for legal or security reasons.
Security
The App stores information locally on your device. The App does not encrypt this stored data itself. Your device and operating system may provide security protections (such as device-level encryption, screen lock, and app sandboxing), but no method of storage is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any updates will be posted with a revised “Last updated” date.
